THE REGION’S finest digital businesses will be honoured at a major awards ceremony.

The third annual Leeds Digital Festival Awards, which were originally due to take place in April, have been re-launched with support from Leeds-based Amsource and the top 100 law firm Ward Hadaway.

A spokesman said: “These notfor-profit awards celebrate the success of the digital and tech industry in Leeds and the wider city region in the last year. In the face of real adversity in recent months, the sector has continued to thrive.”

The final shortlisted nominees will be selected by a panel of experts from the Leeds digital and technology sectors. Judges include Cleveland Henry (UKCloud Health), Greg Wright (The Yorkshire Post), Zandra Moore (CEO of Panintelligence – winner of

Tech Innovation of the Year 2019) as well as the chief officer of Economic Development at Leeds City Council, Eve Roodhouse.

Zandra Moore, the CEO of Panintelligence, said: “I’m hoping to help shine a light on those who deserve that same spotlight being shone on them, and their work highlighting for all to see. We have a thriving, vibrant technology industry in Leeds and across the North, and the Leeds Digital Festival Awards are a celebration of all these achievements.”

Leeds Digital Festival cofounder and Director, Stuart Clarke, said: “It’s great to see the Leeds Digital Festival Awards rescheduled and return for the third year.”
