Shooting probe as man taken to hospital

ROTHERHAM: Police in the town are investigating a shooting.

South Yorkshire Police said gunfire was reported in Thrybergh in Rotherham yesterday. A man in his 30s was admitted to hospital at about 9.20am yesterday.

Park Lane in Thrybergh was closed to allow initial inquiries to take place.

Police have appealed for witnesses to get in touch.
