Attack leaves man fighting for his life

A 21-year-old man was left in critical condition after an assault.

He suffered head injuries after a disturbance between two groups in Attock Park, Rufford Street, in the Laisterdyke area of the city last Tuesday. Five men were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent. Three were released without charge. An 18 and 21-year-old are on bail.
