A wonderfully lightweight body lotion from a new vitamin C-based range, this glides on, sinks straight in and gives skin a radiant boost. £10, boots.com from May

4 eLF hydrating Camo ConCeaLer

A creamy full-coverage concealer that blends well. It has an oversized applicator designed to make it easier to contour and highlight – too big for me but each to their own. I tend to dab it on the back of my hand and then apply. £6, superdrug.com

5 Beauty Pie JaPanFusion Bio-Ceramide moisture mask

OK, this is a slight cheat on the cost front as you have to be a paid-up member to get it for this price. But this range alone is worth the Beauty Pie subscription. The name pretty much tells you everything: it’s a brilliant hydration hit.

9 Pantene Cheat day dry shamPoo Foam

One of my favourite hair finds ever. The nozzle can take getting used to, but once you’ve mastered it (don’t be shy with it) direct it at the roots then rub it in. Not only does it refresh but the mousse element gives great root lift.

10 Beauty Laundrette soFt deLiCates miLky Body moisturiser

Fun packaging complete with an open and closed function on the nozzle, this has a lightweight texture and absorbs quickly. A fresh sweet sort of laundry fragrance but it dries down to something cheering. £3.99, superdrug.com
