Dismounted workshop with Karen Whiston BHSI

This evening workshop takes place in a nice, warm classroom, but will still help to improve your riding. It’ll be led by Karen Whiston, a registered BHSI who has attained UKCC Level 3 and is an R.W.Y.M (Ride With Your Mind) Biomechanics Coach. The focus of the two-hour workshop is ‘training the horse’ and Karen will explain how to get your horse to respond to the lightest of cues. Karen says: “We’ll be looking at training from the point of view of your horse and I’ll be teaching techniques you can use when you’re back on board. It’s in a relaxed environment and by taking your horse out of the equation, it can help you to focus on what your learning. This can be easier then doing it when on your horse. Then you take those skills away with you to use next time you’re riding.
