Autism meets Natural Horsemanship
DATE 21 April WHERE Tumpy Green Equestrian Centre, Dursley, Gloucestershire COST £3
Charlie Avent’s demo with his horse, spirit, aims to promote a more natural and gentle approach to working with horses, as well as raising awareness of autism and helping you improve your bond with your horse. Charlie’s life was transformed by a bay Thoroughbred called Oscar. Before discovering horses, Charlie, who has autism, was struggling with life. The profound experience he had meeting Oscar saw him dedicate himself to learning more about Natural Horsemanship. Today, he and Spirit inspire people across the UK to try Natural Horsemanship. Charlie also hopes his demos will inspire others with disabilities or difficulties to focus on their strengths and interests.
