Lisa ex­plains how: 1 On your way to the yard “As you drive to the yard from work or home, slowly breathe in and out for one minute in or­der to slow your thoughts and to let go of all the clut­ter in your head.” 2 As you groom “Let groom­ing be­come a rit­ual and a process you en­joy be­fore every ride. Don’t rush it.” 3 In the sad­dle “Mount up then take a mo­ment to pause, be with your breath, feel what’s hap­pen­ing with your horse and in your body, re­lax and then ride.”
