You wouldn’t hit the gym with­out warm­ing up first so give your body a lit­tle pre-ride TLC too. Try these sim­ple ex­er­cises to stretch and get the blood flow­ing to your mus­cles:

For­ward lunge on both legs

Lift your arms above your head, stretch tall and do waist twists to the left and right

Step to the side and squat (in both di­rec­tions)

Cross each arm in front of your body (in­di­vid­u­ally) and hold for 30 sec­onds

Twist your up­per body 90° in one di­rec­tion, then the other
