Win a family trip to the Magic Millions Festival of British Eventing

-

TWO LUCKY FAMILIES will take a course walk around the beautiful Gatcombe Park cross-country course with a top rider. You’ll also receive a bottle of Pol Roger champagne, entry for two adults and two children under 18 for all three days and members’ tickets to the exclusive Hamptons International Garden Club for the duration of the event. The Magic Millions Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe Park, 3-5 August 2018, is a fabulous opportunity for a weekend away and to experience the very best championship eventing action. There are five British championship titles to be won: the Magic Millions British Open CIC3*, the Dodson & Horrell British Novice Championship, the TopSpec Challenge for The Corinthian Cup (only open to amateur riders at novice level), and, for the first time this year, the RoR/NTF Retrained Racehorse Event Championship, which is open only to horses that have raced in Great Britain. The famously challenging cross-country course takes centre stage over the weekend, particularly in the British Open where the top 10 competitors run in reverse order. This makes for an exciting climax as the leader sets out last to try to retain the lead and the title. The Park Bowl is the place to watch all this action unfold at the end of the course. As well as the showjumping phase, the Festival’s main arena hosts a choice of entertainment with the Devil’s Horsemen, Shetland Pony Grand National and Pony Club Mounted Games. Over in the Harrington Arena, you’ll find the Dubarry Burghley Young Event Horse Series showcasing event horses of the future. The Festival Food Walk offers foods from around the world, as well as local treats for you to enjoy, while avenues of quality shops and bespoke gifts in the Rural Craft Tent offers retail therapy at its best.
