‘Feeling rather chuffed’

After having a milestone birthday and turning 50, Heather McLean completed her 1,000 mile challenge with two days to spare.

“I’m feeling rather chuffed with myself — with the current climate I didn’t think we would do it. I’m so happy and proud of my mare who will be 22 this year. We’re going to have a little break now before we start our 2020 challenge.”
