It’s 14 years since Marina Jarvis lost her beloved daughter, Vicki, but there’s not a day goes by that she doesn’t remember her. Vicki was just 33 when she died from anaphylactic shock and her death left Marina distraught. “You never expect to bury your own child. You never get over the grief, you just learn to live with it,” she says. Since then Marina has lost her husband, Bernard, who died two years ago from lung cancer aged 80. Yours Forget Me Not group member Marina says she is lucky to have good family support. “You have to rebuild your life. I’ve got lots of good friends and am determined to enjoy life as much as I can.”
