Chick macarons

Give shop-bought macarons a quick and fun Easter makeover!

3 tbsp icing sugar 1 tbsp milk Yellow food colouring Small piping nozzle and bag 6 yellow macarons Edible pen in orange and black

1 Mix the icing sugar with a couple of drops milk and a drop of yellow food colouring until the mixture is thick, not runny. 2 Spoon the icing into the piping bag. Pipe three short lines at the top of each macaron and three small dots on the ‘cheeks’. Once dry, draw on the beak, feet and eyes using the edible pens.
