We lived like royalty
at Bodelwyydan Castle!
Our guests arrived from midday on the Monday and were warmly greeted by Yours staff at check-in. Once keys were sorted, they made their way to the Lowther Hall for a glass of bubbly, then rested in their rooms where they received a surprise Easter egg gift and a goody bag packed with lots of lovely treats!
Crafts stole the show
Our guests were spoilt for choice with crafts! Yours Deputy Editor Claire Williams helped readers make a lovely Easter card and some cute pom-pom chicks
There were also craft classes from your favourite workshop leaders: Tracy, Angela and Melita. Our guests made and took home lavender filled bunnies, floral wreaths, wooden hearts, decorated goose eggs, Easter gift boxes – and a whole lot more besides!
Singles success
Solo travellers were looked after by our singles co-ordinator, Janice. It was good to see so many familiar faces come together to meet both old friends and make news ones. One reader said, “I enjoyed my Yours Live break; as always, it’s a chance to meet up with friends and I had a very relaxing time. Thank you to all the Yours staff.”
Talks to inspire
Our guests enjoyed interesting talks from founder of Look Fabulous Forever, Tricia Cusden and Yours health expert Sara Jubb.
Tricia’s first session talked about her inspiration to start a business at the age of 65, marketing beauty products fro older women. Later in the day, she used one of our lovely readers, Marion, as a model for her make-up range. Marion was left glowing as a result and members of the audience rushed to get a closer look! Sara Jubb spoke on ‘Why We Need to Reclaim our Waists’ which was both interesting and educational for us all.
