SENIOR MOMENTS

I was in a shop trying on some shoes and I couldn’t understand why they were all so tight fitting. Then I realised they were all stuffed with tissue paper. once removed the shoes fitted better! June Holden, Poulton Le Fylde I recently accompanied my friend to her hospital appointment for a scan and she also had a later appointment for a biopsy. When we met up after her scan she was so pleased as they had carried out the ‘autopsy’ at the same time! I was so glad that she was still able to have a coffee with me! Margaret Anderson, Bristol I was treating my friend to lunch and when the waitress brought the bill I said, ‘Do you take Whatsapp?’ It took me a few minutes to realise what I’d said but it made her day.
