Shell lantern

Ideal for a coastal-themed room or to give as a gift

Time: 30 mins Skill level: Beginner

Materials: Selection of beach shells (cockles, whelks, cones) White wooden lantern Hot glue gun and glue sticks

1 Make sure the shells are clean and dry.

2 Lay the lantern on its side and arrange shells how you want them.

3 Apply glue to the lantern using the glue gun, then stick the shells on and leave to dry. Repeat with the remaining three sides.
