When the wedding bells tolled in St Mary Magdalene Church, Oxfordshire on April 23, the couple emerging in a flurry of confetti had even more reason to celebrate than most newlyweds. For John and Patricia Sheen had just tied the knot 58 years after they first became an item. Initially the relationship didn’t work out and they went their separate ways aged 19, each going on to marry other people. But after both were widowed, Patricia tried to find John by placing an appeal in the Where are You? column in Yours.
