I’m reading a book called Italiano Vivo by Giorgio Milesi because I’m determined to relearn Italian. I did a crash course in the Eighties when I recorded an album out there, came back and then didn’t return to Italy enough to keep my Italian up, so I can barely get a small sentence out these days. I feel ashamed that I don’t know at least one other language. I’m going to try to retrain myself with this book and see if I can get it back, but it gets a lot harder as you get older.
