GET PLANTING

Most houseplants are excellent at purifying the air – not to mention making your home look welcoming. Give one of these a try:

Spider plant. An excellent ‘starter’ plant, as their needs are minimal. They will reduce carbon monoxide and other toxins.

Aloe Vera (left). Another easy plant, all it needs is a sunny spot. It can remove nasties such as

formaldehyde and benzene, found in varnishes and detergents. Snake plant. Great for the bedroom as they give out oxygen at night, so will help you breathe easily while you sleep. Orchids (right) do the same.
