Snappy summer berry Jam
Makes: 750mL (1¼ PT) Prep: 5 mins cook: 35 mins
750g (1½lb) mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries) 100ml (3½fl oz) water 400g (14oz) caster sugar
1. Wash and remove stalks from the berries. 2. Place in a pan with water and boil. Leave to simmer for 10-15 mins, stirring frequently. 3. Add the sugar, stir until dissolved and boil for another 15-20 mins. 4. Transfer to jars. Once cooled, cover and chill in the fridge where the mixture will thicken and become more jam-like.
