Hundreds of twitchers flocked to Dorset to see a yellow warbler. More than 200 bird lovers hightailed it to Portland Bill to see the native American bird, which is thought to have been blown about 4,000 miles off its course from the US by Hurricane Gert. It is believed to be the first time one has been seen in England. The birds are common in the US and migrate annually between North and South America. Hopefully, the warbler could feed up before heading south to Spain and Africa.
