are you emotionally drained?

-

We tend to think about fatigue in terms of physical exertion, but emotional stress also depletes energy reserves. “It’s not just major life events such as losing a loved one that drain your batteries, the everyday stresses of family life take their toll too,” says health psychologist Megan Arroll. “Emotional fatigue can leave you feeling drained and tense, lead to low mood and even affect your brain power. Left unchecked, it could lead to burnout, chronic fatigue and impaired immune function, which make it more difficult for your body to fight infection.”
