Meet Lynda Leicester -

-

Key customer Mrs Lynda Leicester decided to set up her lasting powers of attorney after being nominated herself.

“A friend broke her hip which left her in hospital for a few weeks. Unfortunately, while she was in hospital, her husband passed away,” explains Lynda.

“She was left on her own with no children and no family. When she returned home from hospital, she decided to rewrite her Will and asked if I could take on the role of attorney for her as I was the only person she would trust.

“It made us both realise how important it is to make our wishes clear while you’re still able to do so. I dread to think what would have happened if I had not been able to step in and help. “We don’t have any children and so we nominated my cousin’s son, who’s actually a solicitor, and our eldest goddaughter to be our attorneys. “Arranging our LPAs was easy and our adviser was there every step of the way. It wasn’t daunting at all and I would recommend Key to others. Many people don’t like to think about arranging these documents, but it’s very straightforward and once done, you can just forget about it.”
