Chirpy cushion

Update a plain cushion by adding some seasonal charm

1 Draw out two bird templates on tracing paper, one large and one small. Make sure they will both fit on your cushion.

2 Lay the templates on the patterned side of the floral fabric. Draw round them then cut them out.

3 Use your templates to cut out the same shapes in the bonding web material. 4 Postion the bonding web and floral bird shapes lined up on top of your cushion and hold a hot iron over them for ten to 15 seconds. Leave to cool for at least 30 minutes before using.
