New birds on the block!
Britain is becoming home to an increasing variety of bird species because of climate change, experts say. Research by the
RSPB and Natural England says there are many more winners than losers from an increase of almost 1°C in the UK’s average temperature since the Eighties. Night herons, Dartford warblers, cattle egrets and black-winged stilts are among species that have either set up home, or are faring better.
