PUFFIN playtime!
From pampered pets to birds, bugs and wild beasties celebrate all creatures great and small…
Mirror, mirror on the rock… these puffins were caught on camera having fun in their very own playground.
The photos were taken on Coquet Island, an RSPB reserve off the Northumberland coast, by the site manager Paul Morrison, who goes above and beyond for the birds, even building a puffin playground.
Paul says: “We offer puffins things to do as they are full of curiosity – it’s part of their make-up to explore and ‘play’ with things. Each season we have a different theme such as the Puffin Olympics back in 2012, Puffin Pirates.”

SS20 Collection
We got brother and sister Fred and Ginger from a cat rescue. They groom each other, play together and if it’s cold they snuggle up together in the same bed. We named them, then learned from the vet that the female was the black one but as they already knew their names we left well alone! Fred is a large cuddly, lazy Bagpuss sort of cat who pounds and purrs away on my lap. Ginger sits on my husband’s chest and purrs. They tear in last thing at night, skid to a halt and both sit looking at the cat treat tin on the worktop. We love them to bits!
