Letters make such a difference
A few months ago, I read a story about a small charity called Donate A Letter which asks people to write a letter to a cancer patient.
I have written quite a few letters or brief notes. As long as it is not about health you can write almost anything – something funny, a saying you have come across, something of interest that you do. The team receive loads of letters and they are distributed to those that need a little ray of sunshine on that particular day. The letters are much appreciated and I have even made a donation of writing material and stamps. It is so rewarding that something I write can help to lighten up someone’s day.
