Doorstep delights
My husband and I are both in our 70s so we have been selfisolating. One daughter has been leaving something on our garden wall (collected from all the family) every day for weeks. Something silly, something useful, bunches of flowers, dot-to-dot books, drawings from the great-grandchildren, biscuits, jigsaws and boxes of garden plants. We even had an afternoon tea delivered! She says it’s because the family want us to open the door in the morning with a smile which we certainly do. We can’t wait for when we can hug them all.
