Patterns for Sindy clothes started appearing in knitting and sewing magazines, so Pedigree decided to produce a range of outfits. Lunch Date, Dream Date, Shopping in the Rain, and Leather Looker were all snapped up by girls wanting to keep their doll at the forefront of fashion.

In the Eighties she could boast of being dressed by David and Elizabeth Emanuel, the designers of Princess Diana’s wedding dress.
