Christopher Joseph (CJ) Harper

-

STOW - Christopher Joseph Harper, also known as CJ, was abruptly taken from us by our Lord on November 8, 2023, at the age of 25.

He was born on July 21, 1998, in Akron, Ohio.

CJ in his own way was a spirited, music-motivated artist. He found joy in bass fishing, snowboarding, University of Michigan sports, and spending time with his pets. CJ was a spiritual young man and a loving family member who turned coworkers into brothers and sisters, making everyone feel important because relationships were so very important to him.

CJ is survived by his father, Mark; his mother, Michelle; his stepmother, Dawn, and his siblings, Mark W., Andrew, Carson, Tristen, Nate, Alan and Danielle; cousins, Tia, Maritza, Bryan, Cailyn, and Cora; and many aunts, uncles and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, and cousin, Riley Grace Harper.

CJ was a 2017 graduate of Stow-Munroe Falls High School and later pursued a career as an installer for Avery Fence. Despite his busy schedule, he always found time for others, saving little for himself. His selflessness brought him happiness, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224, for visitation Monday, from 5 to 8 PM, where Pastor Chris Laws will conduct service Tuesday, 11 AM. Please dress casual, comfortable and with color. That was CJ’s way.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ohio Fish and Game, a cause that CJ was passionate about. (REDMON, STOW, 330-688-6631)
