Theodore Malenock, Jr., passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on March 22, 2024. He was 86. He was born in Akron, Ohio on September 25, 1937 and was a graduate of Springfiel­d High School Class of 1956. Theodore rejoins those who preceded him in death; parents, Theodore Sr. and Mary Malenock; his wife, Helen Malenock; siblings, JoAnne Tester and Alex Malenock; great-grandson, Raymere Ball, and K9 companion Murphy.

He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and retired from Ford Motor Company with 30 plus years of dedicated service and remained a loyal “Ford Guy.”

He enjoyed drag racing, house boating, smiley faces, and spending time with his family and friends.

Theodore is survived by his daughter, Pamela Ball of Akron; son, Scott Malenock of Orlando, Florida; grandchild­ren, Rayel and Austyn Ball, Carson and Kaitlyn Malenock; great-grandchild­ren, Anyiah, Michael, Braxton, Kash, Carter, and Aubrey.

To those who loved him, his memory and humor will never grow old.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, April 1, 2024, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, Hecker-Patron Funeral Home, 13151 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Uniontown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at St. Bernard Catholic Church located at 44 University Ave., Akron, Ohio 44308 at 10:00 am.

Father David Bline will serve as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Funeral Home and Burial Park located at 3653 W. Market St., Akron, Ohio.
