Sophomore kicker Sanjay Krishnan made two field goals in overtime and senior defensive back D.J. Stefonsky sealed the win with an interception in the end zone as No. 21 RPI defeated host Utica, 23-20, in a nonconference game Saturday at Gaetano Stadium.

The Pioneers had a chance to win the game with four seconds left in regulation, but RPI’S Magnus Wamble blocked a 32yard field-goal attempt to send the game to overtime.

Krishnan missed a 40-yard field goal try in the third overtime, but a holding penalty gave him another chance, and he made it from 35 yards.
