Hammer, Chambers announce separation
“Call Me By Your
Name” star Armie Hammer and Elizabeth Chambers are starting a new chapter, separately.
The couple took to their Instagram accounts Friday afternoon to reveal their decision to separate after a decade of marriage.
“Thirteen years as best friends, soulmates, partners and then parents,” read the statement on both accounts, posted alongside the same photo of the two beaming in a car. “It has been an incredible journey, but together, we’ve decided to turn the page and move on from our marriage.”
“We understand this news lends itself to public dialogue, but in the interest of our children and our family, we’re asking for privacy, compassion and love...,” the statement concluded.
