CLIFTON PARK — Aaron Brogna passed peacefully on January 17, 2021. Aaron was born in Niskayuna on July 14, 1995. A resident of Clifton Park, Aaron was a Shenendeho­wa graduate and attended University of Buffalo pursuing a degree in exercise science. Aaron is survived by his beloved parents, Stephen and Debra (Vinci) Brogna; and brother Tyler Brogna. He was preceded in death by his grandparen­ts, Col. Frank and Betty Vinci and Sal and Loretta Brogna. He is also survived by his large extended family whom he loved spending time with while camping, family gatherings, Giants football and Yankees baseball games. While in high school, Aaron was a member of the Shenendeho­wa Football team. He also played for Clifton Park Baseball and University of Buffalo Club Baseball. He loved umpiring baseball games and refereeing IFL football. He had an amazing ability to recall stats for players of any sport. Aaron had a tremendous love for all genres of music, which was a big part of his life. He enjoyed playing his guitar and would know the lyrics to any song. He enjoyed cooking, running, biking and hiking the Adirondack­s. Aaron had an infectious laugh and smile that could light up a room, and a driving compassion and gentleness for all others. His celebratio­n of life is open to all and will be held on Saturday, January 30, from 12-2 p.m. at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt 9, Clifton Park. A graveside service will be held for extended family members only in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Waterford.
