MECHANICVI­LLE — Barbara F. Ciulla, 87 of West Street, Riverside, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at Wesley Health Care Center after a short illness.

Born in Waterford on December 16, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Olga Golden Nash; and wife of 44 years to the late Isaac "Ike" Ciulla who died in 1996.

A homemaker most of her life, Barb worked as a seamstress for the former Standard Manufactur­ing in her younger years. She was a longtime member and former four-year president of the Henry F. Lefko American Legion Post 1644 Women’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed being in her kitchen cooking and baking, especially around the holidays. More than anything, Barb enjoyed the company of her family and was a treasured role model for her three grandchild­ren.

In addition to her husband Ike, she was predecease­d by her siblings, John Nash, Donna Agan, Honore Kern and Dorothy Poirier. Survivors include her daughters and husbands, Debra and Keith Micklas of Mechanicvi­lle, and Patricia and Mark Decota of Stillwater; cherished grandchild­ren, Erin Micklas, Ryan and

Clare Decota; her sister Joann(tom) Carabis; dear friend Marion Mcgowan, and several nieces and nephews.

Barb’s family would like to express their sincere appreciati­on to Gabby at the Wesley Community for her kind and compassion­ate assistance with the virtual visits between Barb and her family.

Private services will be held at the convenienc­e of the family with burial alongside her husband in the Hudson View Cemetery.
