Rodney Parker scored a game-high 33 points to spark Schalmont to a 72-62 win over Scotia in a boys’ basketball game in Rotterdam.

Parker had 12 points in the third quarter to help the Sabres build a 13-point lead through three quarters. He then went 6for-6 from the foul line in the fourth quarter to seal the win.

Trent Randle added 18 points in the win. The Tartans nailed 11 3-pointers to remain in the game, including five from Ben Kline in the second half. Kline finished with 17 points and Antonio Gianfarani scored 18.

More boys’ basketball: Jeff Finkle’s layup with 16 seconds left in overtime propelled Hoosic Valley to a 63-62 win over Catholic Central. Logan Reilly led the Indians with 18 points, 11 coming in the fourth quarter and overtime . ... Marcus Jackson had 49 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and six steals in leading Albany Academy to an 86-72 home win over Bishop Maginn. ... Hagen Foley scored 26 points in CBA’S 71-64 victory over Schenectad­y. Jahsean Haggray scored 23 points for the Patriots . ... Brett Richards had a massive double-double with 18 points and 22 rebounds in leading Ichabod Crane to a 65-31 win over Loudonvill­e Christian . ... Shaker rallied from 10 down to beat Guilderlan­d 54-49 and earn its first victory this season . ... Marcus Gentile scored seven of his 13 points in the fourth quarter to rally Bethlehem to a 49-45 win over Niskayuna. Kenyon Coleman paced Niskayuna with 14 points.

Girls’ basketball: Freshmen Hannah Mulhern had 20 points and 10 rebounds and Alex Moses added 20 points, six assists and six steals as Duanesburg topped Middleburg­h 54-27 . ... Amelia Wood scored 22 points to lead Averill Park to a 63-52 win over Colonie. Averill Park was 18-for-24 from the foul line. ... Valencia Fontenelle-posson scored 31 points and Guilderlan­d sank 13 3-pointers in beating Shaker, 72-64. Fontenelle-posson scored 12 points in the second quarter when the Lady Dutch outscored the Blue Bison 27-15 to take control of the game. Guilderlan­d was 13-for-26 from 3-point range.
