— Charles A. Brossy, aka Charlie, Alan, and Al, 82, passed away at home on June

17, 2021, with his wife and daughter at his side.

Born on September 15, 1938, to Inez (Rohow) and Hugh Leslie Brossy in New Brunswick, N.J.; he grew up in Metuchen and attended St. Peter’s High School and Villanova University, Class of 1960.

Charles was employed by Exxon Mobil for 29 years in New Jersey and Maine. He served stateside in the U.S. Army from 1962 - 1964 at Fort Hood, Texas, and Fort Huachuca, Ariz.

Charles was a Fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus as well as a member of many organizati­ons pertaining to his hobbies of stamp collecting, roc ks/minerals, model trains, and ham radio. He was an Eagle Scout.

Charlie was predecease­d by his parents; brother, Hugh Richard Brossy; and infant sister, Mary Angela. He is survived by his wife, Doris (Hische) Brossy; son, Eric Brossy de Dios (Alicia) of Monterey Park, Calif., and their sons, Tristan (Aimee) of Edinburgh, Scotland, and Gabriel of Monterey Park; and daughter, Kristin Linsey of Wynantskil­l. He also leaves his cousin, Virginia Streeter of Opelika, Ala.; sister-in-law, Lois Jane

(Brossy) Eisenberg of Fort Myers, Fla.; as well as cousins, nephew, and nieces in Pennsylvan­ia, Virginia, and Florida.

Burial will be at the family’s convenienc­e in the Gracelawn Memorial Park, Auburn, Maine.

In lieu of flowers, Charles requested memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org or to The Community Hospice at www. Communityh­ospice.org.
