BRUNSWICK — Arnold F. Schultz, 99, formerly of Chester Court, peacefully entered into eternal life on Wednesday, June 16, 2021.

Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Rudolph C. and Loretta T. Toupin Schultz and was a graduate of St. Patrick’s School and Catholic Central High School, both in Troy. He was the beloved husband for 76 years to Margaret D.

"Marge" Brezino Schultz, who passed away on September 25, 2019.

He was honorably discharged for his service in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II.

Mr. Schultz was an instrument specialist with Knolls Atomic Power Lab (KAPL) in Niskayuna for thirty-one years (1951-1982).

He enjoyed baseball, fishing, camping and traveling.

Arnold was a member of the BPOE Troy Elks #141 and had been a communican­t of the former St. Patrick’s Church in Troy and currently of St. Augustine’s Church in Lansingbur­gh.

He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret D. "Marge" Brezino Schultz; devoted father of Arnold E. (Mary Ellen) Schultz of Rotterdam, Kenneth G. (Evelyn) Schultz of East Greenbush and Marjorie (John "Jack") Thompson of Halfmoon; brother of the late Edward Schultz, Robert A. "Bob"

(the late, Grace) Schultz and Rudolph F. "Rudy" (the late, Bertha) Schultz; cherished grandfathe­r of Kelley

Schultz, Alan Schultz, Marissa (Nate) Greklek, Christophe­r Schultz, Jennifer (Keith) Starr, Lisa (Greg) Portanova, Megan (Eric)

Kiel and John (Jackie) Thompson; greatgrand­father of Katelin Starr, Alexa Starr, Elizabeth Portanova, triplets, Ava Thompson, Erika Thompson and Luciana Thompson and Hannah Greklek; and uncle of Diane (Rick) Bryant and John Brezino.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. from the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Ave. (corner of 115th Street in Lansingbur­gh)

Troy, thence to St. Augustine’s Church, Lansingbur­gh where at 9:30 a.m. the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m.
