their Black Friday savings, personal-finance website WalletHub surveyed nearly 5,000 deals from 21 of the biggest U.S. retailers’ 2021 Black Friday ad scans to see who offers the largest advertised discounts in various product categories, such as apparel, toys and jewelry. Macy’s has the highest overall discount rate at more than 58 percent, whereas Ace Hardware has the lowest at just under 12 percent. JCPenney, Belk, Kohl's and Office Depot/Office Max rounded out the top five best places to shop for savings.

Most stores and all Capital Region malls will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. Although Black Friday sales have been springing up daily since Halloween, some of the biggest sales of the season are still to come in the days leading up to, and including, Black Friday. Amazon’s 48-hour Black Friday event begins Thanksgiving Day and runs through Friday. Access deals online at Amazon.com/blackfriday,

on Amazon's shopping app, stores and through Alexa devices.
