Lopez, Affleck engaged again
It’s official — Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are engaged — again!
On Friday night, the “Let’s Get Loud” superstar shared the exciting news on her membersonly fan newsletter, On the JLo.
In the video message, Lopez is admiring her green engagement ring. She shared in a previous newsletter why green is a meaningful color.
“I always say the color green say is my lucky color,” she wrote. “Maybe you can remember a certain green dress. I’ve realized there are many moments in my life where amazing things happened when I was wearing green.”
Lopez’s sister, Lynda, posted photos from the announcement in an Instagram story, writing, “So this happened. Love you @jlo @benaffleck.”
Earlier in the day, Lopez hinted on her social media accounts that she had big news to share.
“So I have a really exciting and special story to share,” she said in a 30second video between giggles. “So if you’re not part of my inner circle, you have to go to onthejlo.com to hear this one.”
Affleck and Lopez’s engagement comes nearly a year after they were first spotted hanging out in Montana, not long after the music icon’s split with Alex Rodriguez. It wasn’t long before they were photographed smooching at Nobu, the popular Malibu, Calif., sushi spot.
The couple, aka Bennifer, fell for each other the first time in 2002 on the set of “Gigli.” That summer, Lopez announced that she was divorcing Cris Judd after less than a year of marriage. Later that year, Lopez and Affleck were engaged and canoodling in the “Jenny From the Block” music video. But the couple postponed their wedding in 2003 days before they were set to say “I do,” citing the media frenzy.
A few months later, they split for good. Or so it seemed.
This will be Lopez’s fourth marriage (she was previously wed to Ojani Noa, Judd and Marc Anthony, father of her teenage twins) and Affleck’s second (he was married to Jennifer Garner for 10 years. They had three children.)

Spears might now be married to Asghari
She’s breaking the ice some more with fans.
Britney Spears may have secretly tied the knot with Sam Asghari, the “Break the Ice” singer revealed in an Instagram post dedicated to
Kate Hudson and
Drew Barrymore — the only two celebrities she says have left her “literally … speechless.”
“They are by far the 2 most beautiful people I have ever seen in my life !!! Like shocking !!!” wrote the pop star, 40. “I had to open my stupid mouth with Kate so I ran away immediately and with Drew … I went mute !!!”
Spears went on to address the “pretty crazy” expectations for perfection in social media — and referred to fiance Asghari as her husband, even though there has been no public word of them being wed.
“Although I love my husband I will be honest and say I get annoyed all the time !!!” she added. “So I think sisterhood is actually profound with one another … We do care what others think and then when you start to take yourself seriously I give up before I even begin because I care too much !!! … I’m sharing this because we all seem to alienate behind our phones and computers … I’ve never opened a computer my whole life … just a phone … but I do miss just walking up to someone on the street and saying hi and giving a smile.”
The mom of two concluded by saying she “will probably buy a computer today.”
The singer and 28year-old Asghari announced their engagement last September, after five years together.
In December, Asghari penned Spears a sweet birthday tribute, praising her “relentless strength,” “beautiful heart” and “smile that lights up my world.”
Barrymore, 47, in a clip for an upcoming episode of her talk show, responds to Spears’ compliment.
“I really want to respond thoughtfully. I really wanna choose my words the right way,” Barrymore said. “I have so many feelings towards her, so much profoundness. So how do you encapsulate that in a post? She managed to do it. Now I gotta figure it out. But really, when you put your words out there, Britney Spears, we’re all listening, so I’m really excited for your book. … We have some unique journeys in common and I don’t posture to know her or understand her or say I’m like her or that our journeys align, but there’s just a tremendous amount of understanding and empathy that I have for her. It’s hard for me to put into words, the way I feel about her.”
