DAVENPORT, Fla. — On May 23, 2022, at 8:11 a.m., heaven gained an angel as Amy Clements passed away due to stage four aggressive cancer of unknown source at Advent Health Celebratio­n in Celebratio­n, Fla., surrounded by her family.

Amy was married to Scott Clements for six years and was married on January 16, 2016. Amy was born and raised in Newfane, N.Y. She moved to Florida in the early 2000s. She started working with Walt Disney World in the College Program and worked at Disney until 2017. Most recently, Amy worked at Holiday Inn Vacation Club in the corporate offices. Amy enjoyed traveling, shopping, dining out on occasion and just enjoying life with her husband Scott.

Celebratio­n, Fla., Hope Presbyteri­an Church at Lake Nona, Fla., First Presbyteri­an Church in St. Cloud, Fla., Lafayette Presbyteri­an Church in Tallahasse­e, Fla., and the First Presbyteri­an Church of Deland, Fla. Pastors that she met along the way who had a special place in her heart are Pastor Patrick Wrisley, Pastor Nancy Graham Ogne, Pastor Stephen Graves, and Pastor Hugh Lackey. Amy also enjoyed hanging out from time to time with her close friends, Ashley Chapman Moreno, Stephanie Greene and Pastor Christina Greenawalt.

In addition to her husband, Scott, Amy is survived by her mother, Deborah Kelly (Rob); sister, Melissa Cacciatore (Frank); brother, Adam Bates (Bethan Evans); nephews, Nicholas Cacciatore, Christophe­r Cacciatore and Lucas Bates; nieces, Hannah Cacciatore and Hailey Cacciatore; father-in-law, Mark Clements (Mary Sneathen); extended family in upstate New York; and her favorite cat in the world and ruler of the house, Abby. She was predecease­d by her father, David J. Bates; and a daughter, Madison that Amy and Scott lost to miscarriag­e in 2018.

The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at Advent Health Celebratio­n, Cancer Unit (fourth floor) Neighborho­od G.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc., 276 Pawling Ave., Troy on Friday, June 17, from 4 - 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 18, at 10 a.m. in the First Reformed Church of Wynantskil­l, Church Street and Main Avenue, Wynantskil­l with Reverend Bethany Popkas, Pastor, officiatin­g.

In lieu of flowers, contributi­ons may be made in memory of Amy Clements to Pets by Judy or Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando.
