Krahl, Wesley Albert Jr.

SAND LAKE — Wesley Albert Krahl, Jr., 83 of Taborton, Sand Lake, the husband of the late Barbara Krahl, died on February 13, 2022, of sudden cardiac arrest.

He was born in Greenwich, Conn. to the late Wesley Albert Krahl Sr. and Edna Horton Krahl. He is survived by a brother, Roger Krahl of Roswell, Ga.; three stepchildr­en, Linda Marshall of Gilbert, Ariz., David Cobden of Taborton, and Stephen Cobden of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and two nieces, Pamela Krahl of Severna Park, Md. and Kathryn Krahl of Valdosta, Ga.

Wesley graduated from Greenwich High School and worked as a draftsman for the American Machine and Foundry in Greenwich before joining Hawk Transporta­tion Services in Danbury, Conn. Wesley was also a proud member of the United States Air Force and Air National Guard. Following retirement, Wesley and Barbara relocated from Greenwich to a lake house on Big Bowman Pond in Taborton.

While Wesley never forgot his roots in Greenwich and maintained close ties with friends there, he also made

friends in

there, many new friends in Taborton. Noted for his positive attitude, keen sense of humor and love of life, he will be missed by friends and family alike.

A celebratio­n of Wesley’s life will be held at the lake house in Taborton on June 19, at 1 p.m.
