— Kenneth C. Swart, 73, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at home with his family by his side.

He was born on January 8, 1949, in Catskill, the son of Clyde Swart and Doris D’Angelo Swart (Carnright). He was the general manager of Troy Ambulance for over 20 years and in his retirement drove school buses part-time for Durham School Services.

Kenneth enjoyed watching the Yankees and going to Cape Cod with his family. He also loved visiting his grandchildren in Florida.

Kenneth is survived by his beloved partner of 28 years, Miriam Dugan (Holbrook); his daughters, Stacy Alcuaz (Alan) and Stefanie Swart; stepsons, Tim Dugan (Anne), and Kevin Dugan (Ana); stepdaughters, Erin Dugan Rudd (Dave) and Meaghan Dugan (Ron Jojo); his pride-and-joy, his grandchildren, Grace Dugan, Conner Rudd, Ethan Rudd, Ava Alcuaz, Helen Dugan, Timothy Dugan, Jackson Gould, Ian Alcuaz, Rowan Gould, Olivia Dugan and Matteo Dugan; sisters-in-law, Helene Holbrook, and Janice Holbrook Portanova; nieces and nephews, Ryan and Kelly Portanova, and Delaney Burke; and great-niece, Elora Burke Paul. He was predeceased by his father, Clyde Swart; mother, Doris Carnright; his sister, Linda Coblish; and his nephew, Shane Portanova.

A private graveside service will be held in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, 40 N. Jefferson Ave., Catskill.
