Saratoga Springs’ Emily Bush posted a time of 10 minutes, 3.14 seconds to win the girls’ 3,000meter race on Saturday at the Section II State Qualifier at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy.

The Blue Streaks’ senior finished 10.59 seconds ahead of Shenendeho­wa’s Leyla Bhusri.

Taconic Hills standout Neil Howard won the pole vault with an effort of 15 feet. Nathan Fazzone of Shaker took second with a personal best 12-6.

Albany’s Malachi Young won the 55 hurdles race in 7.97 seconds. Ballston Spa’s Devin Hemraj was second (8.014) and Howard was third (8.019).

Jack Seagroatt of Shenendeho­wa won the 3,200 with a time of 9:37.21 and Gabrielle Bozeth of Ballston Spa won the 55 with a personal record of 7.32.

The shot put and weight throw events will be held on Sunday, Feb. 18, to conclude the Section II qualifiers.

Boys’ basketball: Colonie kept its perfect season rolling with a 74-42 win over host Middletown. Cam Trimarchi had 16 points to lead the Raiders, who are 20-0 on the season . ... Green Tech coasted to a 74-50 victory over Section IX’s Monroe-Woodbury. The Eagles have won five straight and climbed to 14-6 overall. Davi Barnes scored a team-best 15 points and U’Mier Graham added 14 to lead Green Tech . ... Antonio Fairley poured in a game-high 38 points to lead Canajohari­e to a 77-44 win over Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville in a Western Athletic Conference crossover game at Fulton-Montgomery Community College. Colin Eakin had a solid day for the Wolves with 21 points . ... Taconic Hills jumped out to a 37-19 halftime advantage and defeated Germantown 50-41 in the Patroon Conference. Tristan Super had 17 points for the Titans.
