Women@Work breakfast speaker’s business addresses matters of the heart

Love will be in the air as Women@Work continues its Women Who Lead breakfast series on Wednesday, Feb. 14 — Valentine’s Day.
Becky Daniels, a cofounder with Gabby Fisher of Micropolitan Matchmakers, will be in the house at the Times Union’s Hearst Media Center that day to talk about how she and Fisher saw an opportunity to help people looking for romance to meet local people, in person rather than by merely scrolling and swiping on an array of dating apps. The company offers matchmaking, singles events, dating coaching, a podcast and more to help folks find love.
Daniels, a Capital Region native, is the chief romance officer of the boutique dating and relationship service that aims to help people find love — and love where they live. When she’s not playing Cupid, she is the director of community impact at Broadview Federal Credit Union.
