Green Island man indicted in cocaine case

ALBANY — A Green Island man is accused of having and planning to sell cocaine, according to the U.S. Attorney of the Northern District of New York.

Richard Thomas, 53, was arraigned after being indicted Sept. 10 for possession and intent to distribute over 28 grams of crack cocaine and cocaine, attorneys said.

Thomas is in custody pending trial.

If convicted, he could face at least 10 years and up to 40 years in prison.
