COHOES — Antoinette "Toots" S. Connelly passed on peacefully in her sleep September 21, 2018, at Eddy Village Green in Cohoes. She was born to Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Friedel and was educated in the Cohoes school system. She retired from Norton Company after many years of employment there. She loved to travel, garden and was a voracious reader.

She is survived by her children, Frank Connelly II (Vicci) of Halfmoon, Beverly Hancock of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Donald Connelly (Carol) of Cohoes; her grandchildren, Jill Connelly (Brian) of Los Angeles, Lisa O’toole of, Bloomington, Ill., Anthony Connelly (Nidia) of Woodbridge, Va., Kristen Martin (Tom) of Watervliet, Michael Connelly (Kim Cardona) of Latham, Kerry Connelly of Cohoes, Elle Connelly of Cohoes; her granddaughter-in-law, Pam; and her greatgrandchildren, Francesca Connelly, Ryan Connelly, Jon Groom and Erin O’toole, Sierra and Jack van der Brug, Anthony and Aiden Connelly, Ava and Olivia Connelly and Ava Anthony.

She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Connelly; her son, Anthony Connelly; her grandson, Frank Connelly III; and her longtime companion, Louis Drapalski.

Relatives and friends may call at the Marra Funeral Home at 246 Remsen St. on Tuesday, September 25 from 4-7 p.m.; the funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Cohoes. Interment will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, in Waterford.
