LOUDONVILL­E — Mary Teresa (Lawlor) Seymour, dearly loved wife, daughter, mom, grandmothe­r, great-grandmothe­r, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, January 12, 2019. Mary was born on Strand Road in Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland on February 12, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Patrick “Paddy” Lawlor and Mary Foley Lawlor.

On August 3, 1963, Mary married the love of her life, Bruce Seymour and they cherished one another until Bruce’s untimely passing in July 1990. Mary was also predecease­d by her baby son Sean; baby daughter Kerry; and her beloved sisters, Evelyn and Noreen. She was the adored mom of Theresa (Michael) Grimes, Christine (David) Erman, Bridget, Colleen (Steven) Dagostino. Mary is also survived by her brothers, Patrick (Jean), Sean Patrick (Nadine) and Brendan (Cathy) Lawlor. She was the cherished grandmothe­r to 10 grandsons, four granddaugh­ters, and one great-granddaugh­ter. She was the niece of Mrs. Mary O’callaghan, and extended Lawlor, Savage, Spicer, Foley and Griffin families, many nieces, nephews, and first cousins.

Mary’s children and brothers would like to extend their gratitude to St. Peter’s Hospital for their loving care.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Mary’s family on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumite Rd., Loudonvill­e. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.

Memorial contributi­ons may be made to the American Heart Associatio­n.

She was the widow of William V. Wells who died May 6, 2018. She was the sister of Hazel Ledger of Old Orchard Beach, Maine and the twin sister of the late Helen Viola Chicoine who died at birth. She was the sister-inlaw of Catherine and George Capsimalis of Clifton Park and Heleen and David Knapp of Ballston Lake. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, grandniece­s and grandnephe­ws.

Special thanks are extended to the staff at Schuyler Ridge Health Care for the compassion­ate care given to Janet in her final years.

Funeral services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. from the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St., (Rte. 32), Waterford and at 11 a.m. in St. Augustine’s Church in Lansingbur­gh. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Troy. Zappone of Denver, N.C., James and Sheri Zappone of Queensbury, and Anthony and Diane Zappone of Ballston Lake; adoring grandchild­ren, Julia Moyer, James and Michael Zappone, Kara Velez, Matthew Zappone, Leah Klein, Anthony and Gina Zappone; along with 11 great-grandchild­ren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. in St. Edward the Confessor Church, 569 Clifton Park Center Rd, Clifton Park with burial to follow in the Saratoga National Cemetery. Calling hours in St. Edward the Confessor Church, on Thursday from 4-7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, remembranc­es may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in loving memory of Marie A. Zappone.
