- Associated Press Green Bay, Wis.

Both the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints will likely be missing their star receivers for their Sunday night matchup.

The Saints have ruled out 2019 Offensive Player of the Year Michael Thomas, which means he will miss a second straight game with an ankle injury.

Packers coach Matt Lafleur says it ’s “probably doubtful” that Davante Adams will play Sunday night at New Orleans due to a hamstring injury.

Adams hasn’t practiced this week since leaving the Packers’ 42-21 victory over the Lions in the second half. Lafleur has said there’s a possibility Adams could play even without practicing all week if the three-time Pro Bowl selection feels fine on Sunday. Bills: Buffalo will be without rookie running back Zack Moss (toe) Sunday against the Rams. Jets: Wide receivers Jamison Crowder and Breshad Perriman were ruled out for Sunday against Indianapolis because of injuries. And receiver Braxton Berrios injured a hamstring at practice Friday and was listed as questionable. Starting right tackle George Fant won’t play after suffering a concussion during practice on Wednesday. 49ers: Nick Mullens will start at quarterback on Sunday for

San Francisco in place of the injured Jimmy Garoppolo but won’t have All-pro tight end George Kittle. Garoppolo didn’t practice all week because of a high ankle sprain suffered last week. Kittle will miss a second straight game after spraining his knee in the opener. Kittle practiced on a limited basis but wasn’t healthy enough to go. Browns: Cleveland could be without both of its projected starting cornerbacks on Sunday against Washington. Denzel Ward is listed as questionable with a groin injury and Greedy Williams will miss his third straight game with a shoulder injury sustained in training camp. Chargers: Rookie quarterback Justin Herbert will get his second NFL start Sunday against Carolina with Tyrod Taylor sidelined indefinitely due to chest and rib injuries. Raiders: Las Vegas will be without rookie receiver Henry Ruggs III this week because of knee and hamstring injuries. Titans: Outside linebacker Vic Beasley Jr. appears ready for his long-awaited debut with Tennessee. The man who led the NFL with 151⁄ sacks in 2016

2 spent all of this year’s preseason on the non-football injury list with a knee injury. Beasley finally passed his physical Sept. 5 but didn’t practice for a full week until this week.

Steelers: QB Ben Roethlisberger will set a franchise mark when he plays in his 221st game in the NFL on Sunday.

Note: For the first time in NFL history, there will be two female coaches on the sideline and a female official on the field when the Browns play host to the Washington Football team. Jennifer King is in her first season on Washington’s staff, and Callie Brownson is the chief of staff for Cleveland’s. Sarah Thomas became the league’s first female official in 2015.
