‘Dancing ’ judge to hit floor
ABC’S “Dancing with the Stars” judge Derek Hough will forsake the judges’ panel for his first in-show dance routine in three years next Monday. Hough, six-time Mirrorball champ, will tickle his toes with former “Dancing ” contestant Hayley Erbert.
“I’m very, very excited, and I’m even more excited that I’ll be dancing with my lovely girlfriend, my love,” he said.
“So, we get to dance together in the ballroom. We’re already planning it. We actually did a little session yesterday, and we woke up this morning very sore. So, we were like, ‘Oh, OK. We have three minutes to make this happen. Oh, sorry, three weeks.’ But I’m very excited.”
The show this year is hosted by supermodel and super-business woman Tyra Banks. Banks, who was never satisfied with simply being a model, tells me how she acquired her gutsy attitude.
“I think I get it from my mom. I’m very much attracted to risk, taking a chance,” she said. “Yeah, when things are kind of the status quo, I feel a need to kind of break out and to be innovative, and I would not have been that way without my momma. My momma kind of instilled that in me. My momma used to say to me, ‘I didn’t raise a quitter. I didn’t raise somebody that’s safe.’ And, so, I think that’s where it comes from. Like, I’m starting an ice-cream company and hosting ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ things that I never thought of 10 years ago, five years ago. But I’m probably in one of the happiest moments of my business life right now.”
Parker diagnosed with terminal cancer
The Wanted singer Tom Parker has a terminal brain tumor, he revealed in a new interview with Britain’s OK! Magazine.
The UK boy band member said he was diagnosed with a grade four glioblastoma tumor, and was told it’s inoperable.
Parker, whose group’s U.S. hits include “I Found You” and “Glad You Came,” shared a photo of himself with his wife, Kelsey Hardwick, and their 1-year-old daughter, Aurelia and vowed to continue fighting. “We are all absolutely devastated but we are going to fight this all the way,” he wrote. “We don’t want your sadness, we just want love and positivity and together we will raise awareness of this terrible disease and look for all available treat
ment options. It’s going to be a tough battle but with everyone’s love and support we are going to beat this.”

Tommy Lee to release new album on Friday
Rocker Tommy Lee is in a collaborative state of mind on his new album, “Andro,” out Friday.
The 14track album, his first solo release in more than 15 years, includes guest appearances from multiplatinum hitmaker Post Malone, Josh Todd of Buckcherry, South African rapper Push Push, Canadian rocker Lukas Rossi, West Coast rapper Brooke Candy, singersongwriter King Elle Noir and rapper Killvein, among others.
