Comment period to end in Adirondack­s

The public comment period is ending in the next few days for several proposals before the Adirondack Park Agency board.

According to the agency ’s website, they include:

New York Land and Lakes Developmen­t wants to subdivide more than 1,100 acres on Collins Gifford Valley and High Rock roads in the Fulton County towns of Mayfield and Northampto­n into 34 lots for 30 new single-family dwellings. The project site includes the entirety of 129-acre Woodward Lake. A 2,000-foot-long road would be built and owned by a property owners associatio­n. Individual lot owners will install and maintain the water supply, wastewater treatment, and stormwater management on each residentia­l lot. Comment period ends Jan. 15.

Constructi­on of a threestory, 44-room, 60-foot tall hotel called Skyward Hospitalit­y including a restaurant and meeting space at routes 3 and 30 in Tupper Lake. A parking area for 38 cars, stormwater management controls, landscapin­g, greenspace and snow storage areas are proposed. The comment period ends Jan. 7.

New Cingular Wireless proposes a 78-foot tower to be concealed as an 83-foottall simulated tree to support cellular antennas and a 215-foot-long access drive on Tower Hill Rod in the town of Indian Lake. Comment period ends Jan. 14.

James Faber proposed a boardwalk and dock structure of 413 feet long at Brant Lake, Route 8, in the town of Horicon. Comment period ends Jan. 14.
